With entertainment, programming, and celebrities representing a myriad of fandoms, Comicpalooza is Houston’s biggest pop culture convention. In 2017, the Promo team was asked to support and enhance the show’s gaming area, which had struggled in previous years.

After auditing the space, vendor communications, and existing attractions, our efforts increased area attendance by 40% over 2016 by enhancing the experience for attendees, sponsors, and vendors alike. Areas of support included:

• eSports tournament support

• Convention center wayfinding

• Vendor space sales and management

• Marketing

• Industry party
