Atlantic City Boardwalk Con (ACBC) was conceived by Mike D'Alessio as a way to elevate the con experience at all touch points for fans and exhibitors. This included reinventing the tired city-street grids of convention aisles, bringing panels, entertainment and battle classes onto the show floor, re-envisioning the way actors are showcased, and celebrating Creators as the true heroes of the event. In 2015's inaugural show, ACBC booths from included top tier publishers including Marvel Entertainment, Boom! Studios, Aspen, Top Cow, and more, a publisher presence rivaled only by SDCC and NYCC.
